Efficacy of Percutenous Trigger Finger Release

Objective: To determine the efficacy of trigger finger release with percutaneous technique.
 Study Design: Cross-sectional study.
 Place and Duration Study: Department Orthopedic Surgery, Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center, Karachi Pakistan, from Mar 2017 to 2018.
 Methodology: One hundred three patients were selected through outpatient department after they meet inclusion criteria one or more fingers in whom was indicated. Patients previously open release, carpel tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis hand Dupuytren's contracture excluded.
 Results: The mean age 34.79 ± 14.08 years a range 17-62 years. More male (56.3%), females 43.7% female ratio 1.27:1. Accordingly, 95 (92.2%) out 103 had complete relief symptoms procedure thus efficacious these patients. Among remaining 7.8% it not efficacious, about 2.2% partial while 5.6% either no benefit worsening as assessed on 8th week post-operatively. Age significant effect modifier (p<0.05).
 Conclusion: Overall, technique is an effective method treatment
